Small hosts only: site visit. If your host company has fewer than 25 full-time employees or under 3 million dollars in annual revenue, the US Department of State requires a short site visit. It is carried out by our partner sponsors to verify your host company, making sure it genuinely meets the legal requirements; these days usually as a digital site visit by video call rather than an in-person visit. The 250 € fee is a one-time charge billed separately and is not part of the sponsorship price, because it does not apply to every host. Larger hosts do not pay it.
